Gaia is the first Value-Based family building company. We give people control over their fertility with clinically proven pathways to parenthood —whether they want a child now or later — and take on the financial risk so that if we don’t deliver successful outcomes, they don’t pay.
Gaia was born from our founder’s own harrowing journey through assisted fertility, and his resolve to build the experience he wished he had.
Our mission is to give the best shot at parenthood to anyone who wants a family, with access to a network of clinics selected for their results, affordable and flexible payment options, and 90+ NPS wraparound care and support.

How we got here
2020
Gaia is backed by one of the best European seed stage investors, Kindred Capital.
2021
We signed our first contract with our first insurer, and our team grew to 8.
2022
We raised a $20 million Series A round led by Atomico, sold our first plan, and our first baby was born! Our team grew from 10 to 30, so we needed more office space.
2023
We’ve had more babies born and got FCA regulated! We launched a new and improved Gaia plan that makes IVF accessible to 20% more people.
2024

What you get
At Gaia, we support your development at work and outside of work. Because we work globally and are continuing to expand, we have some differences in our benefits depending on location. Ask us for the detailed benefits in your location.
Everyone in the team is offered £1k per year to spend on building skills and deepening knowledge to take them to the next level of their career.
We know how important it is to take time to relax and recharge. Everyone gets 25 days (+ UK bank holidays) of leave to take each year and has the opportunity to ‘work from anywhere’ throughout the month of August.
We’re invested in our team for the long term, including a pension scheme with SMART. We currently contribute 3% as the employer, with an opt-in 5% employee contribution.
We offer parent leave and childcare support through our Workplace Nursery benefit.
New starters are offered the opportunity to own a bit of Gaia. Everyone gets the same terms of a 1 year cliff and 4 year vesting period.
As a family-building company, we offer support if and when our team members need it. We offer a fertility testing budget alongside a fixed amount to spend on treatment.
